Katanning Hamfeast happened during the week, amid the rain, on Tuesday January 12. This report comes from Rob VK6LD. Rob coordinates the Hamfeasts on behalf of the Southern Electronics Group.

Rob was pleased with the turnout and expressed his thanks to everyone who attended the 7th Katanning Ham Feast on Tuesday last, and said It was great to see everyone and catch up for a chat and some lunch. Rob said he counted around 35 guests for lunch at the Royal Exchange Hotel.

First prize in the raffle, which was an LED magnifying desk lamp was won by VK6TY Lee. Rob expressed thanks to everyone who purchased tickets, and proceeds from the raffle go to helping Southern Electronics Group. The Treasurer, Bevan VK6BL, also advises that several members renewed their membership and some new members signed up.

Rob said Thank you to those who renewed their membership and welcomed the new members to the Southern Electronics Group.
