In this week's bulletin we hear from two Wireless Institute of Australia Directors about the steep increase in temperature around the board of the oldest Amateur Radio Association in the World. Speaking of increase in temperature, in the southern hemisphere spring has started, summer is on the way and contesting is heating up with the Spring VHF and UHF Field Day and the Oceania DX contest on the way.

We also have an update on the annual Jamboree on the Air, a marvelous initiative that has fostered many new radio amateurs across the years, not to mention a great weekend to set up a mobile station and introduce a whole new crop of eager participants into the wonders of our hobby.

Those stories and the Helpline, Foundations of Amateur Radio, a new callsign on air, meetings and more for new and old participants in ham radio.
