In Luxembourg, “Go Urban 2017”, the guide and scouts will be operating the special event callsign LX4GO from their campsite until the 28th July 2017.

Keep an eye on QRZ.com

At the same time:

Point your beam towards West Virginia, as special event callsign K2BSA will take you LIVE to the U.S. National Scout Jamboree via amateur radio.

They’ll be operating via SSB, CW, PSK-31, EchoLink and D-Star.

The commemoration for 100 Years of Scouting in Tanzania has also just started: Listen out for 5H3TSA and 5H100JAM.

Another one to add this week:

From Germany, at the Camp Estonteco in the Grosszerlang–Mecklenburg Lake District, an international scouting team will be operating the radio scouting station DP9S.

This special event station will operate from the 26th July up until the 5th August.

The “wireless tent” offer young people many exciting activities, including radio contact with the International Space Station.
