20181118 - VK6WIA NewsWest for Sunday, 18 November 2018 - New Amateurs Edition

posted Nov 16, 2018, 2:52 AM by Bob Bristow
In the NewsWest edition for 18th November 2018 we look at New Amateurs.

We’ll congratulate those who earned a new license and those who have upgraded.

The team for this week is Andrew vk6AS, Dan vk6NAD, Roy VK6XV, Neil VK6BDO and myself, Bob VK6POP, the producer for this week.

I heard a report recently of on air bullying, and today in my monthly New Hams series I talk about illegitimate carborundum, or something like that.

We have other items of interest to Amateurs old and new. In fact they would be of interest to anyone really. Dan and Andrew give some ideas on setting up a station or shack, and Roy presents helpline, and we have a wrap from the VI6PAX and VI6PEACE activations last weekend, and we tell you about events coming up in VK6.
