posted Apr 10, 2020, 8:55 PM by Bob Bristow
20200412 NewsWest  VK6 Amateur Radio News for 12th April 2020 visits the world of the new Amateur in another stay at home edition.

Firstly though I’d like to wish everyone a happy Easter, and for most of us it’s been an Easter like no other we’ve ever experienced .

In today’s line-up we acknowledge and congratulate those who are new to the hobby, or who have simply gained a new callsign.

Have you heard any of the “Stayhome” special event callsigns from around the world?  A bit more on that later from Chris VK3QB, who will also talk about QRM Guru and the outcome of the recent survey on the callsign numeric component.

And lastly we repeat the interview of Dan on Curtin Radio. It first went to air a couple of years ago.

The crew this week is Dan VK6NAD, Roy VK6XV, and myself Bob VK6POP the producer.
