Post date: Oct 11, 2019 1:41:00 PM

Today NewsWest continues an Amateur Radio News tradition which began in Perth in 1931, by the Western Australian Wireless Institute, signing as vk6WI.Today we feature the History of Amateur Radio, drawing on items from the Amateur Radio Magazine from thirty and fifty years ago. We continue to look over the back fence, and Roy is full steam ahead with Helpline.

We’re a bit light on for team members this week, so the menu features a lot of me served up in a variety of ways. The team this week is Roy, Jake and myself, Bob VK6POP the producer of NewsWest.
