In NewsWest for Sunday 20th September 2020 we delve into Amateur Radio History, with items out of Amateur Radio Magazines from 1935, that’s eighty five years ago, to save you counting on your fingers.

There’s also long awaited news that Solar Cycle twenty five has officially commenced, and Ed gives us further news about the Portable Operations Challenge, as well as some hints and advice on how to go about working that contest.

NewsWest continues to bring you news and information about Amateur Radio, and we’ve done that since 1931.   We’re available on air, online and on demand. You choose, you listen.

The team this week is Jeff, Mike and Roy, and I’m Bob VK6POP the NewsWest producer.
