We wish a Happy Mothers Day to all the mums out there, and hope you’re all doing something special for your mum, even if it’s just spending time with a fond memory.

Today we’re spending time with New Amateurs, welcoming newcomers to the hobby, and congratulating those with a brand new callsign.

There’s exciting news about a newly launched Australian e-book aimed at beginners in Amateur Radio, an offer of a grant from Fists Down Under for the expansion of the Reverse Beacon Network in Australia, another installment of the New Hams Series, Roy’s Helpline, and more on NewsWest.
