Do you have a story to tell, or maybe some news or newsworthy event, or maybe a meeting or event notification you want to let other amateurs know about. Well here at News West, we can do it for you.

To get your story on air is simple. Send an email to newswest@vk6.net

If you'd like the NewsWest team to read it out, just write the text in your email and we'll take it from there.

You can also contribute your segment as an audio file. We prefer a mono MP3 file in 256 kilobit or better. If you're not sure how to do that, Audacity is a great tool for the job, it runs under Windows, OSX and Linux. Audacity is free to download and use.

Make sure you include the date on which your story is intended to be on air and include your contact details so amateurs can get in touch with you.
