Happy New year from the VK6 Amateur Radio News team. This week is about clubs and we have reports from the VHF group, the Peel Group, the WA Repeater Group and Ham College.There is some information about the potential introduction of 2 by 1 contesting call signs, digital developments and a further reminder to get on air and contact the scout jamboree at tailem Bend in VK5.

Another first is an interview from Dan conducted on air using Echolink, well worth a listen.

Of major significance is that WA Amateur Radio News has decided to run the PerthTech event in 2019,and we have initial details of this for you to put into your diary.
