Sunday 17th November 2019

NewsWest this week is the New Amateurs edition, and today we spend time welcoming newcomers to the hobby, and acknowledging those who have recently passed Amateur Radio exams or gained a new license.

Glenn, the president of the Radio Amateur Society of Australia, talks about how the ACMA wants to deal with Amateur Radio peak bodies.

This week we have a request from Amateur Radio NSW to help out with prospective new Amateurs, snd Chris gives us an update on QRM Guru. There’s advice and ideas for new Amateurs, and Jake tells of his journey into Amateur Radio.

We also have our regular features - New Hams the series, Roy’s Helpline, and we take our weekly look over the Amateur Radio back fence.
