Newswest for Sunday 20th October 2019 - New Amateurs Edition

Post date: Oct 19, 2019 12:11:42 AM

In NewsWest for Sunday 20th October 2019 we pay attention to New Amateurs, congratulating those who passed their Amateur Radio exams and those who obtained new callsigns.

We have an interesting article about working SOTA along the Bibbulman Track, and in New Hams the series we think about what’s important to us in the hobby.

There’s information about Foundation courses coming up, the news broadcasts once again being relayed on UHF CB repeaters in Perth, changes to access on the VK6RAA repeater, and a story about a story from Peter VK3YE. Roy’s well and truly back in harness with helpline, and we have a story from Paul VK6WZ about his journey into Amateur Radio.
