NewsWest for Sunday 4th august - Club Focus Edition

Post date: Aug 2, 2019 12:31:51 PM

NewsWest for Sunday 4th August is the Club Focus Edition, where we focus on clubs, and we give time to clubs to blow their trumpets, or even a whole brass band if they want. We have stories from the Christmas Island Amateur Radio Club, WA Amateur Radio News and Ham College. We take a look at recent criticism of Ham College by wise men from the East, and I comment about bullying in Amateur Radio Circles.

Then we have a good news story, of a very low power QSO between Melbourne and Perth using the new JS8Call mode.

We remind you that nominations for the Jim Rumble Award close tonight, Dan interviews a local Amateur, Clive reminds us about the RAOTC broadcasts coming up this week, and Roy regales us with Helpline.
