Post date: Jan 12, 2018 12:52:49 PM

NewsWest this this week is centred around Amateur Radio History, where we give you some insight into what was happening in Amateur Radio in days gone by. Will VK6UU has been delving into a quantity of old records that have recently surfaced, and today’s items are mostly drawn from that source.

In Foundations of Amateur Radio Onno discusses some principles of organizational dynamics, relating these to Amateur Radio societies. He ends with a quote from Margaret Mead “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has’.

Andrew tackles the subject of bullying and inappropriate behaviour on social media.

There’s also Roy’s Helpline, Bob’s Myths of Amateur Radio. You’ll hear from Ty who talks about what’s coming up with the WA VHF Group.

Next week we welcome, take a look at and have sage advice for new Amateurs
