The John Moyle Memorial Field day is next weekend, and along with the usual reminders and information, we bring to you a history of John Moyle, whose vision in the postwar years of the nineteen forties was instrumental in the adoption of radio as a vital tool in fighting bushfires, and of course later to be adopted in all spheres of emergency response.
