HELP

I have a Uniden ubc3500xlt and to be honest have been struggling with understanding how to use the unit.

I just started to find my way around the radio and have now completely lost the display, so I am struggling even more!

It turns on and off, I get the orange back light but have no display whatsoever, it bleeps in all the right places but that's about all.

I have tried re-setting the radio to no avail.

Any help old be greatly appreciated.
