20161210 - WIA mediation fails

A mediation session was held this morning between the various parties involved in the ongoing dispute at board level of the Wireless Institute of Australia. Included in the mediation session were representatives from the WIA Reform Group. It should be noted that this is the first time that the WIA Reform Group has been acknowledged as an interested party by the mediator, Chris Platt, a former WIA Director, and the first time that their contribution has been taken seriously.

The mediator released the following statement:

A mediation was conducted on Saturday 10 December 2016. All WIA Directors, the WIA Treasurer and representatives of the WIA Reform Group participated. The meeting was unable to resolve the varying positions of the parties.
